Mixed-Use Buildings
The master plan proposes the development of several existing university-owned parking lots into two mixed-use buildings that will strengthen the main Moorhead campus entry—extending and animating the campus “front door.” The individual buildings will feature first floor commercial space and four apartment floors above accommodating up to 128 upperclassmen. The design and location of each building will provide students and faculty convenient locations within walking distance of the academic core for congregating outside of the classroom.
